Founder/Principal of Vision Growth Fundraising
Founded in 2017, at Vision Growth Fundraising we specialize in prospect research, giving team support, donor strategy, and grant writing. Over 15 years in fundraising leadership positions, Founder and Principal Bethany Basile has cultivated an expertise in securing high-value gifts and catalyzing sustained revenue growth, especially in institutional giving. Her approach is relationship-driven and is particularly effective for organizations dedicated to social justice, arts and culture, and youth and workforce development, though Vision Growth works across all not-for-profit sectors.
Before founding Vision Growth, Bethany significantly increased annual and special initiative funding at several prestigious institutions. As Deputy Director at the Boston Workers Circle, she spearheaded a 20% increase in annual revenue and launched a major capital campaign. Her tenure at Northeastern University, as the primary frontline fundraiser for corporations and foundations at the NU School of Law as well as the College for Arts and Humanities, was marked by transformative foundation gifts for pioneering projects like the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project. At the Roundabout Theatre Company, her strategic fundraising supported the launch of the sector's first technical theater youth workforce development program, securing $3.6MM from institutional funders and establishing a new benchmark in arts workforce programming.
She holds a Master of Science in Media Advocacy from Northeastern University and a BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. As an alum of Coro Leadership New York, she brings a deep understanding of social, political, and economic frameworks to her work.

The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation awarded recently $750,000 to the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice Project (CRRJ) at Northeastern University School of Law to support its work in investigating and archiving acts of racial terror in the South between 1930 and the 1970s.
Northeastern Law's Center for Health Policy and Law, has been awarded a grant of approximately $500,000 from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), the nation’s largest philanthropy dedicated solely to health. The grant will support a two year project by the Center for Health Policy and Law and the Northeastern Institute for Health Equity and Social Justice Research to educate judges about the social determinants of health as a strategy to improve health and promote health equity.
The program, with substantial funding and support from the New York City Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment and the Department of Small Business Services, includes three years of training, job placement, and one-on-one mentorship with top industry professionals to ensure a smooth and successful transition from high school graduate to working theatre professional.
